Programme in numbers

In the 1st Call for Proposals, launched in 2016, 23 projects were contracted in order to implement their project proposals Programme area. A total of 18.395.160,66 EUR was contracted for these projects.

The 2nd Call for Proposals was opened from 30 March 2018 to 5 July 2018. A total of 111 applications dealing with cross-border issues were received via eMS. Joint Monitoring Committee approved 20 projects on 5 February 2019. The first projects started with implementation on 1 April 2019 and 1 May 2019, whereas the last project has been contracted on 15 March 2021. 

What are we funding?

In order to achieve the Programme goal of strengthening the social, economic and territorial development of the Programme area, all projects co-financed by the Programme must contribute to identified challenges and opportunities in the areas of the following Priority Axes:

Priority Axis 1

Improving the quality of public social and health services in the programme area

Specific objective 1.1
To improve the quality of facilities, services and skills in the area of public health and social care

Priority Axis 2

Protecting the environment and biodiversity, improving risk prevention and promoting sustainable energy and energy efficiency

Specific objective 2.1
To enforce integrated cross-border monitoring / management systems for key existing risks and environmental and biodiversity protection

Specific objective 2.2
To promote the use of sustainable energy and energy efficiency

Priority Axis 3

Contributing to the development of tourism and preserving cultural and natural heritage

Specific objective 3.1
To strengthen, diversify and integrate the cross-border tourism offer and better manage cultural and natural heritage assets

Priority Axis 4

Enhancing competitiveness and developing business environment in the programme area

Specific objective 4.1
To improve competitiveness of the Programme area through strengthening cooperation between business support institutions, clusters, education and research organisations and entrepreneurs with aim to develop new products / services / patents / trademarks in the Programme area
