About

The main objective of the VicTour project is to enhance continental tourism by gathering the region’s thematic routes under one, commonly recognizable brand. The project will approach these goals by combining innovative and modern marketing tools with ICT equipment, such as holograms and VR equipment, in order to create a unique tourism offer in Vukovar-Srijem County and Srem district. 

Partners

Vukovar Srijem County (CRO) is the project’s lead partner, in charge of introducing and using new ICT technologies such as Augmented Reality, interactive totems, promotional timelapse film…

Tourist Board of Vukovar Srijem County (CRO) will support the lead partner in acquiring and installing the ICT technologies for the promotion of the project and region.

Tourism organisation of Vojvodina (SER) will develop the marketing plan of the project, produce the promotional “timelapse” video and acquire ICT equipment.

Faculty of Economics (Subotica) at the University of Novi Sad (SER) will be engaged in development of a joint, cross-border web solution for promotion of tourism, as well as multimedia content personalized for different focus groups (children, youth and elderly). The partner will implement ICT solutions, social media campaigns and new approaches in planning tourism, such as the sentiment analysis which combines visitors’ beliefs and stances, preferences and dissatisfactions.

European Affairs Fund of Autonomous Province of Vojvodina (SER) is in charge of putting in use the holographic projection system, VR systems and related production and planning of video and virtual materials. The partner will prepare communication and dissemination activities and work with Croatian partners on filling in the project’s tourism database.

With augmented reality tools and interactive totems, the ViCTour project is bringing together the traditional and contemporary of the Srijem / Srem region.
