About

Project MOS-Cross 3 aims to maximize results achieved by Mos-Cross project financed within the 1st CfP, and improve the quality of public health services and skills by expanding the scope of trained health professionals for mosquito surveillance and sampling methods for mosquito-borne diseases (MBD) detection to North-Bačka District and Vukovar-Srijem County, thus creating synergies and broadening the scope of existing networks and services.

Partners

Public Health Institute Sombor (RS) is the project’s lead partner, responsible for transferring knowledge on mosquito surveillance protocols, prediction preparations, mosquito sampling for MBDs, and species determination gained in MOS-Cross to public health workers in North-Bačka District and Vukovar-Srijem County together with Teaching Institute of Public Health for the Osijek-Baranja County. The experts from the two Institutes will present material and results from MOS-Cross project and its scientific contribution to the scientific authorities in the field at the international scientific conference.
 
European Affairs Fund of Autonomous Province of Vojvodina (RS) will organize trainings on mosquito surveillance protocols, prediction preparations, mosquito sampling for MBDs and species determination for public health workers. The Fund will also oversee organizing workshops on the MBD health awareness program for vulnerable groups (elementary school children and elderly in elderly homes), and organizing a scientific conference on mosquito-borne diseases, mosquito surveillance, control, and abatement services.
 
Teaching Institute of Public Health for the Osijek-Baranja County (HR) is responsible for organizing trainings and transferring knowledge on mosquito surveillance protocols, prediction preparations, mosquito sampling for MBDs, and species determination gained in MOS-Cross for public health workers. The Institute will also organize workshops on the MBD health awareness program and educate vulnerable groups (elementary school children and elderly in elderly homes).
