After the European Commission approved Interreg VI-A IPA programme Croatia – Serbia at the beginning of November last year, the first Monitoring Committee meeting was held on 04 – 05 April 2023 in Vinkovci, Croatia.

Monitoring Committee is responsible for the review of overall effectiveness, quality and coherence of the implementation of all actions towards meeting the Programme objectives in line with Article 30 of the Interreg Regulation. The members of the Monitoring Committee represent the participating countries (Croatia and Serbia) thus ensuring a transparent approach in monitoring the Programme implementation.

At the first meeting of Monitoring Committee, the representatives of the two participating countries, the European Commission, Managing Authority and Joint Secretariat discussed and adopted the following documents:

This was also the occasion for the Monitoring Committee to decide on the time frame for the 1st Call for Proposals, which is expected in the second quarter of the year.

The Programme will allocate EUR 17,400,751.50 of EU funds to the 1st CfP.

As part of the meeting, as an example of good practice, the Pannonia Gourmet project (Gourmet centre in Vinkovci), which was financed under the 2nd Call for Proposals within Interreg IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Croatia-Serbia 2014-2020, was visited.
