As part of the INNOBEE project – Innovative Solutions for Improving Beekeeping and Modernizing Support for Beekeeping in the Croatia–Serbia Cross-Border Region, implemented under the Interreg VI-A IPA Croatia–Serbia Programme, two round tables were successfully held on 28 and 29 May in Novi Sad and Osijek.
The events focused on the presentation of the “Development of Protocols for Innovative Treatments in Beekeeping”, a key project output aimed at enhancing beekeeping practices through modern and science-based approaches.
The protocols were presented by project partners: the Faculty of Agrobiotechnical Sciences Osijek, the Faculty of Agriculture Novi Sad, the Scientific Veterinary Institute “Novi Sad”, and the Fund for European Affairs and Development of AP Vojvodina.

The round tables brought together beekeepers, researchers, and other experts from the sector, fostering knowledge exchange and discussion on innovative solutions for sustainable beekeeping. The events also attracted significant interest from students and high school pupils, highlighting the growing awareness of the importance of beekeeping and pollinator protection among younger generations.
Through cross-border cooperation and the transfer of knowledge, the INNOBEE project contributes to strengthening the beekeeping sector and supporting its sustainable development in Croatia and Serbia.
