SIGA2KAZUK project: Second Training Workshop for Remote Pilots of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Successfully Completed

As part of the SIGA2KAZUK project, the second training workshop for remote pilots of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) has been successfully completed, further strengthening the operational capacities of project partners in the use of modern technologies for forest monitoring and protection.

The training combined both theoretical and practical sessions, enabling participants to improve their knowledge and skills in safe and efficient UAV operations in accordance with applicable regulations and professional standards. Special emphasis was placed on flight planning, risk assessment, operational safety, and the practical application of drones in monitoring forest ecosystems and supporting sustainable forest management.

By completing the programme, participants enhanced their competencies for conducting UAV operations in real-life field conditions, contributing to more efficient data collection, improved environmental monitoring, and faster responses to potential risks affecting forest areas.

The workshop represents another important milestone in the implementation of the SIGA2KAZUK project, which promotes cross-border cooperation and the exchange of knowledge and expertise while introducing innovative technological solutions for the sustainable management and protection of natural resources.
