Project RESCUE finished construction of photovoltaic power plant system in Slavonski Brod

Within project RESCUE (Renewable Energy Sources for smart sustainable health Centers, University Education and other public buildings) the installation of the photovoltaic power plant and the battery storage system at the University of Slavonski Brod – Mechanical Engineering Faculty was successfully finished in January 2021.

The photovoltaic power plant is now fully operational and has a nominal power of 64 kW and it is composed of 200 photo-voltaic (PV) panels with a nominal power of 320 W. Produced electrical energy is adjusted to the electrical network by three three-phase inverters and one hybrid inverter. The excess electrical energy produced by the PV power plant will be stored in the 8 kW battery storage system.

In the next few months, the mounting of Buildings Energy Management Systems (BEMS) will be completed and it will enable the remote monitoring of the operation of the power plant.
