Through project “Support Life” Home for elderly and infirm persons Ilok opened a department for patients in terminal stage of illness on 29 April 2021.
The department for patients in terminal stage of disease has 6 accommodation units and total capacity of 10 beds. Rooms are equipped with all necessary medical and other equipment to provide all necessary service and improve users’ quality. Total value of reconstruction, installation of hospital elevator and equipping of department is EUR 229.000.
The opening ceremony was attended by State Secretary of the Ministry of Labour, Pension System, Family and Social Policy Marija Pletikosa and Deputy head of Social Welfare of Vukovar-Srijem county Andrijana Dujmović.
Due to compliance with epidemiological measures, the event was held in Hotel Dunav, and opening of department was show by video calls from the Home for elderly and infirm persons Ilok.
