Project’s final conference was organized by the Entrepreneurship – Development Center of Erdut Municipality Ltd., on 8 June 2021, in the premises of Women Business HUB. The event was attended by representatives of numerous institutions and organisations, local and county authorities and media from Osijek-Baranja and Vukovar-Srijem counties.
Director of the Entrepreneurship Center Erdut, Ms. Bojana Orsić gave a welcome speech and thanked all the people and institutions that helped in realization of the project and its activities. Welcome speech was given also by Ms. Sofija Bajić, director of the Association Business on High Heels – partner in the project. The Mayor of Erdut, Mr. Jugoslav Vesić, spoke about the success of WBH project in the local community. Jovana Ilišević, project manager for the WBH project, presented the project activities and achievements.
During the conference, Cooperation Agreement between WBH (Croatia) and WBC (Serbia) was signed. The agreement envisages creation of CB network as the main output of the project.
Through implementation of the planned activities, the project has influenced the development of companies run by women and created the conditions for the economic empowerment of women in CB region.
