Works began on the construction of a 500 kW photovoltaic power plant in the Industrial Zone Nova Gradiška, near the highway – European route E70, as one of the main activities of project “Biosol” financed from the 2nd Call for Proposals.
With a solar power plant, the City of Nova Gradiška will produce around 60 MWh per year, covering about 20% of its consumption. This investment is in line with the development plan for land owned by the City and the plant will further promote sustainable energy in the cross-border region and contribute to reduction of air pollution and energy costs.
