Public consultations on Strategic Environmental Assessment and draft Interreg VI-A IPA Programme Croatia – Serbia 2021-2027

During the process of preparation of the Interreg VI-A IPA Programme Croatia – Serbia 2021-2027 (hereinafter the Programme), in line with the provisions of the Environmental Protection Act (Official Gazette, No. 80/13, 153/13, 78/15, 12/18, 118/18), a strategic environmental assessment (SEA) procedure must be carried out. Ministry of Regional Development and European Union Funds (MRDEUF) started the SEA procedure for the Programme on 10 November 2021, by adopting the Decision on initiating the SEA procedure for the Programme. Following the public cross-border consultations with interested stakeholders, MRDEUF adopted the Decision on the scope of the Strategic Environmental Assessment Study for the Programme on 20 December 2021.

Based on the adopted Decision, the Strategic Environmental Assessment Study (SEA Study) for the Programme has been developed and the MRDEUF adopted the Decision on sending the SEA Study and draft Programme for public consultations

Public consultations will last from 1 March until 30 March 2022. On 1 March, the following documents will be published:

  1. Strategic Environmental Assessment Study for the Programme
  2. Non-technical summary (in Croatian and English)
  3. Draft Interreg VI-A IPA Programme Croatia – Serbia 2021-2027.

Within public discussion, a public presentation on SEA Study and draft Programme will be carried out via virtual conference on 22 March 2022 at 10 h. The link to the virtual conference will be published a few days in advance here.

Suggestions, opinions and remarks can be sent in writing to the MRDEUF via post or via e-mail at jelena.plavetic@mrrfeu.hr, by 30 March 2022. All suggestions, opinions and remarks that are not legibly written and submitted within the deadline will not be taken into account.
