During the process of preparation of the Interreg IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Croatia – Serbia 2021-2027 (hereinafter the Programme), in line with the provisions of the Environmental Protection Act (Official Gazette, No. 80/13, 153/13, 78/15, 12/18, 118/18), a strategic environmental assessment (SEA) procedure must be carried out. Ministry of Regional Development and European Union Funds started the SEA procedure for the Programme on 10 November 2021, by adopting the Decision on initiating the SEA procedure for the Programme. The first step in this process is to determine the scope of the Strategic Environmental Assessment Study for the Programme.
During the scoping phase of the SEA procedure, implemented from 12 November 2021 to 11 December 2021, the Ministry of Regional Development and European Union Funds obtained the opinions of the relevant state bodies and held a virtual public cross-border consultations on 29 November 2021 to harmonize the opinions on the content and to determine the final scope of SEA Study.
After the assessment of each received opinion, the Ministry of Regional Development and European Union Funds adopted a Decision on the scope of the Strategic Environmental Assessment Study for the Interreg IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Croatia – Serbia 2021-2027, which can be found here.
