As part of the FED CCNET project, City of Ilok and Municipality of Bač renovated and adapted two buildings to serve as Competence centres, in order to enhance competitiveness and business environment in the cross-border area.
The Competence centre in the City of Ilok, which is established for the specific connection of agriculture and tourism, was ceremoniously opened on 30 June 2021. The participants were greeted by several officials from local and regional authorities from both countries, and after the presentation of the project guests had the opportunity to tour the premises of the Competence center.
The Center of Business Competences in Bač was ceremoniously opened on 2 July 2021. With the reconstruction and adaptation of the building, the institutional infrastructure, services and cross-border network have been significantly improved in providing access to appropriate competencies. The ceremony was also attended by the representatives of the local authorities, who emphasized the importance of interregional networking and the development of institutional infrastructure.
