S.O.O.S. New Emergency Medical Services Vehicle for the Health Centre in Sombor

The Dr Đorđe Lazić Health Centre in Sombor has received a new emergency medical services vehicle, purchased as part of the S.O.O.S. project.

The new ambulance is equipped with modern medical equipment, enabling healthcare professionals to provide more effective patient care and safer transport to healthcare facilities.

The vehicle is equipped with a range of specialised medical devices, including a Bexen defibrillator, Weinmann transport ventilator, LUCAS mechanical chest compression device, LSU suction unit, BLT E30 three-channel ECG, Chison ultrasound system, Medcaptain video laryngoscope, Pari Boy inhaler, and a Cobas mini laboratory for rapid troponin testing.

This type of equipment is particularly important in emergency situations, where every second counts and rapid assessment and appropriate medical intervention can be crucial.

The acquisition of the new vehicle and state-of-the-art equipment further strengthens the capacity of the Emergency Medical Service and provides healthcare professionals with better conditions for delivering timely and high-quality emergency care to citizens.

The new ambulance represents another important step towards more modern, efficient and better-equipped emergency medical services in Sombor.
