The main objective of the RE-TREAD project is to improve the effectiveness of healthcare for older people and vulnerable populations in the cross-border area. The project focuses on modernizing medical services and infrastructure in specialized hospitals in Novi Sad, Apatin and Lipik. Through the exchange of knowledge and experience in diagnostics, treatment and rehabilitation, RE-TREAD aims to strengthen healthcare services and promote innovative approaches to patient care. In addition to improving medical infrastructure, the project supports the promotion of healthcare models within families and communities, healthy aging and disease prevention. The new hydrotherapy equipment at Special Hospital Junaković represents an important step towards enhancing rehabilitation services and improving the quality of healthcare available to patients in the region.
