Field activities and investments in research infrastructure were key components of the NET4DINAR project.

Project partners participated in Field Days in Osijek and Novi Sad, presenting ongoing research to farmers, seed companies and experts, with a focus on multilocation breeding trials and crop phenotyping under field conditions.

Within the project, important equipment was acquired for digital phenotyping such as UAV drones and LITERAL (plant device equipped with RGB and stereo-cameras), including the MARViN ProLine II for seed analysis and phenotyping and a new tractor to improve the efficiency and quality of field trials.

These investments directly supported more precise and data-driven breeding activities.

Regular project meetings, including a major meeting in Osijek in April 2025, strengthened cooperation between Croatian and Serbian partners through joint discussions, field visits and coordinated evaluation of genotypes.

Through integrated field research, modern equipment and close collaboration, the NET4DINAR project established a solid basis for future joint work in digital, innovative and climate-resilient crop breeding.
