MAJESTIC ZOOs Thanks to the Interreg project, ZOO Palić Becomes Even More Attractive

ZOO Palić, the lead partner of the Majestic ZOOs project, has introduced new attractions and improved facilities, making the zoo an even more enjoyable destination for families and visitors of all ages.

The Majestic ZOOs project aims to develop and promote family-oriented tourism by transforming existing public tourist attractions, such as zoos, into value-added tourism products. The project focuses on creating engaging and accessible experiences for families with children, children with special needs, zoo visitors and garden enthusiasts.

The improvements include petting zoos featuring horses, donkeys, cows, sheep, rabbits and guinea pigs, accessible children’s playgrounds and outdoor educational areas. These new facilities offer visitors opportunities to interact with animals, enjoy outdoor activities and learn through engaging experiences. Particular attention is given to accessibility, ensuring that children with disabilities can also enjoy the attractions.

Through these improvements, the Majestic ZOOs project contributes to the development of inclusive, family-friendly tourism and enhances the attractiveness of both zoos as tourist destinations.
