Members of the INNOBEE project team participated in the 11th European Conference of Apidology – EurBee11, held in Bologna, Italy, from 7 to 10 September 2026.
The conference brought together more than 540 researchers from around 50 countries and featured nearly 500 scientific contributions focusing on bee health and resilience, climate change, biodiversity, diseases and pests, and the application of modern technologies in beekeeping.
Topics directly related to INNOBEE activities were of particular interest, including innovative summer and winter treatments, bee colony monitoring and the development of modern support services for beekeepers.
Participation in EurBee11 provided an excellent opportunity to present the INNOBEE project to the international scientific and professional community, exchange knowledge and experience, and establish new contacts for future cooperation.
The project INNOBEE – Innovative Solutions for Enhancing Beekeeping Processes and Modernising Support in Apiculture in the Cross-Border Region of Croatia and Serbia is jointly implemented by FAZOS, the University of Novi Sad Faculty of Agriculture, the Scientific Veterinary Institute “Novi Sad”, and the European Affairs Fund of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina.
The project is being implemented from 15 January 2026 to 14 January 2028. Its total value is EUR 940,501.45, of which EUR 799,426.22 is co-financed by the European Union through the Interreg VI-A IPA Croatia–Serbia Programme 2021–2027.
