Novi Sad, April 15, 2026 — A workshop held as part of the CREATEGREEN project brought together experts, researchers, and participants to discuss pressing environmental challenges and solutions for greener cities. The project is implemented through the Interreg-IPA CBC Croatia–Serbia Programme with the support of the European Union.
The event focused on key topics such as urban biodiversity, the impact of climate change on cities, and the growing need for sustainable urbanization. Participants had the opportunity to learn how scientific research and practical approaches can work hand in hand to shape a more sustainable future.

Discussions emphasized ways to make cities more resilient, healthier, and more pleasant places to live. Speakers highlighted that climate change is no longer a distant concern, but a current reality that demands immediate attention and action.
The workshop also encouraged dialogue and exchange of ideas, underlining the importance of cooperation between science and practice in addressing environmental challenges and improving urban life.
