A new solar power plant has been installed in Novi Sad as part of the CREATEGREEN project, marking an important step towards greater use of renewable energy in the Croatia–Serbia cross-border region.
The Scientific Veterinary Institute “Novi Sad”, the project’s lead partner, completed the installation of a 0.15 MW ground-mounted solar power system, which will help reduce energy costs, improve energy efficiency, and lower environmental impact.
Beyond supplying clean energy, the investment will support the development of an innovative solar efficiency monitoring system and contribute to wider adoption of renewable energy solutions across the region, benefiting public institutions, researchers, businesses, and local communities.
