The Interreg Cooperation Day 2023, our Programme celebrated on 20 October 2023, in Novi Sad’s Science and Technology Park under the slogan „Year of Skills“.
At this one-day event, Ministry of European Integration of the Republic of Serbia in cooperation with Programme joined together students, scientists, and representatives of institutions involved in previous projects and invited all interested individuals to attend this celebration.
Visitors had the opportunity to explore interactive experiments, projects, and scientific achievements at various stands, where they learned about innovations. The official opening of the event took place at 10:00 h in the amphitheatre of the Science and Technology Park – one of the partners in our successful UPDATE project, winner of the Interreg Project Slam social media competition 2023. After the opening speech of Minister for Human and Minority Rights and Social Dialogue of Republic of Serbia, Tomislav Žigmanov, representatives from the Science and Technology Park Novi Sad, the Ministry of European Integration of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds of the Republic of Croatia greeted the guests and introduced them to the Interreg and the history of cooperation on the Programme with brief information.
Following the opening ceremony, there was a lecture about our Programme, Interreg Volunteer Youth Programme and on artificial intelligence. The stands remained open for all interested visitors until 14:00 h.
The celebration of the Interreg Cooperation Day in Novi Sad, Serbia was a successful event that aimed to promote Interreg and encourage active participation in projects, to showcase the results of cooperation between Croatia and Serbia, while at the same time showing successful Programme achievements, and great skills of the Programme area.
