On 1 June 2026, the Day Centre in Bačka Palanka officially opened its doors and welcomed its first beneficiaries. This marked an important milestone in improving social services and providing support, inclusion, and meaningful activities for older persons and other beneficiaries in the local community.
The establishment of the Day Centre was made possible through the SocCare Project, implemented within the Interreg VI-A IPA Croatia–Serbia Programme 2021–2027. Through this cross-border cooperation, valuable resources, knowledge, and experience have been brought together to strengthen social care services and improve the quality of life of beneficiaries.

Since its opening, the Day Centre has become a place of social interaction, support, learning, and active participation. We are proud of the progress achieved and grateful for the support provided through the Croatia–Serbia cross-border cooperation framework.
We sincerely thank the European Union, the Interreg VI-A IPA Croatia–Serbia Programme, and all project partners for their valuable contribution to the successful implementation of the SocCare Project and the opening of the Day Centre in Bačka Palanka.
