Within the project GreENERGY 2.0. workshop for stakeholders was held in Novi Sad on 30 June 2023. The aim of the workshop was promotion of energy efficiency and sustainable urban environment in the cities of Croatia-Serbia cross-border region.
At the workshop, the main ideas and activities of the GReENERGY 2.0 project were presented.
Three lectures presented the importance of implementing renewable energy and practical problems in its implementation, importance of green energy in the era of climate change, and the impact of thermal conditions in urban areas on public health in Serbia.
One of the main goals of this workshop is the presentation of common problems in the implementation of renewable energy, as well as the presentation of the problems of the urban environment in the Croatian-Serbian border area. Main goal of the GReENERGY2.0 project is to solve the challenge by installing a solar power plant and green infrastructure on selected buildings in Osijek and Novi Sad, as well as their promotion accompanied by educational activities.
