Creating and supporting better business environment for women in cross-border region between Croatia and Serbia is main focus of project Women Business HUB.
Leading partner, Entrepreneurship Development Centre of Erdut Municipality, just recently finalized renovation of its premises in Dalj in order to arrange space for Women Business HUB that will serve women entrepreneurs, potential entrepreneurs and hard-to-employ category of women, who will undergo training, mentoring consultations to become more competitive on the labour market. After the revitalization of the space, the interior was equipped with furniture and IT equipment.
Project partner from Novi Sad, NGO “Biznis na štiklama” has already completed work on the Women Business Centre in Novi Sad and implemented trainings, mentoring and consultations for target groups. After establishing Women Business Centre in Novi Sad and Women Business HUB in the Municipality of Erdut, the work on creation of favourable conditions for the economic empowerment of women in the region has started. The HUB and the Centre now work on a program of tailored trainings, mentoring, networking and promotion services that seek to educate more than 700 women and set up a cross-border network of women entrepreneurs.
