Joint firefighter training in Našice within project Together We Stand

Project partners on the project Together We Stand, co-funded through the Interreg IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Croatia-Serbia 2014-2020, have organized firefighter training at newly acquired training gallery on 15 November 2021 in Našice, Croatia. Firefighters units from Croatia, Našice and Osijek, together with firefighters units from Serbia, Bezdan and Stapar, have united forces to successfully perform theoretical education and practice at new training gallery procured through project.

The aim of the training was to increase the number of firefighters from both side of the border, who can safely act in cases of chemical accidents which require specialized breathing equipment.

Nine participants from Serbia, together with their colleagues from Croatia, in teams of two have tried to conquer the training gallery. Five teams were successful and have received certificates, while the others were shown their results and given recommendations for improving their performance.
