On 30 August 2021 the organizer and Lead partner of the project “IT Community Region” Open University of Subotica Ltd. together with project partners Adult Education Institution Studium Vukovar, Development Agency Vukovar – VURA and Regional Development Agency Panonreg Subotica held the project final conference.
Due to the epidemiological situation in the cross-border region and the inability of project partner representatives to attend the conference, it has been organized online. The aim of the conference was to sublimate the results of the project and to promote the created web platform for networking, knowledge exchange , experiences, information and the cooperation of freelancers, IT entrepreneurs and IT SMEs from the cross-border region: https://itcommunity.vura.hr
In the introductory part of the conference Vladimir Perović, Head of Project Management Team at the Open University of Subotica, presented the implemented project activities in the Serbian part of the cross-border region with emphasis on implemented educational activities – IT courses, workshops and seminars, as well as IT conference as a promotional activity.
Ana Gale, Director of Adult Education Institution Studium Vukovar, presented the realized project activities in the Croatian part of the cross-border region with a review of the created online courses and the center for empowering young people to create digital content.
Danijel Naletilić, Project Coordinator in the Department for Social Activities in VURA, presented the IT platform created within the project, its content, method of use, functionality, registration and connectivity as well as collaboration opportunities for platform users.
Finally, Ivana Radjenovic, Project Manager from the Regional Development Agency Panonreg, presented the entire promotional activities of the project, the promotional tools usage and the achieved effects.
All project partners expressed their satisfaction with the achievements, regardless of the circumstances in which the project was implemented, and announced future project initiatives in the field of IT sector and plans for further cooperation.
