Low level of competitiveness and generally unfavourable business environment in Croatia-Serbia cross-border area, in comparison to EU countries, is a problem that project FED CC NET aims to address by developing infrastructure, services and networks for enterprises and consequently create more favourable business environment in the Programme area.
As part of the project, Municipality of Lovas reconstructed ruined building and transformed it into a Competence center, equipped with modern hardware and software, empowered to provide mentoring programs and networking for entrepreneurs.
The Competence centre in Lovas was ceremonially opened on 25 September 2020. The opening ceremony was held in accordance with COVID -19 epidemiologic measures and was attended by several officials from local and regional authorities.
One of the first activities in the Center will be trainings for entrepreneurs, followed by mentoring programs in order to connect and exchange knowledge and experiences in this area.
