The 2nd Networking meeting for Control bodies was held on 5 March 2019 in Zagreb. The meeting was organized to present financial implementation of projects, discuss open issues and share experiences between Control bodies of Interreg IPA CBC Programme Croatia – Serbia and Croatia – Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.
The Networking meeting was organized by the Managing Authority and offered a unique opportunity to share findings of Control bodies from Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro and exchange information with the Managing Authority and Joint Secretariats.
Control bodies are dedicated to checking expenditures of projects and their compliance with EU, programme and national rules, as well as with the Application forms of co-funded projects. In this way, controllers confirm that costs co-financed under the Interreg IPA CBC Croatia – Serbia and Croatia – Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro Programmes are eligible and relevant for the success of projects.
The main aim of yesterday’s Networking meeting was to discuss open issues and use these findings to facilitate monitoring of project implementation and make financial management easier for cross-border projects. Therefore, topics covering financial implementation of both Programmes, most common FLC issues regarding eMS and specific cases on expenditure categories were included in the agenda and further discussed.
With valuable information collected from all participants, new meetings will be organized shortly.
