About
The project is contributing to the promotion of the use of sustainable energy and energy efficiency. The BIOSOL partners stay together to expand the use of renewable energies, capitalizing on the gained joined experience. BIOSOL+ project focuses on the maximized use of PV solar generated energy for 9 public buildings and capitalization on the capacity of the Academy for Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency. Benefits of the project will be propagated through activities with SMEs and schools, including pre- and primary school generation (strongest influencers on the family level).The project will also promote e-mobility through public availability and use of e-bikes. Targeted and public events will promote Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency.
Partners
City of Šabac will take action to increase energy efficiency in the public sector by investing in a PV energy supply system for a public building (Sports complex – swimming pool). During the project the City will organize informative and educational workshops for further awareness raising and promotion of the use of RE sources and EE. These activities, which include different target groups and specific activities with pre-school and primary school population, together with procurement and use of e-bikes. City of Sabac will continue to encourage the city’s population and companies to make more use of renewable energy sources themselves.
City of Nova Gradiška will take action to increase energy efficiency in the public sector by investing in new solar power applications on 8 public buildings, owned by the city. This will further reduce the consumption of other energy sources and lower CO2 emissions, thus reducing the harmful environmental impacts in the city and surrounding area. 2 e-bikes will be procured and used by communal inspectors. During the project the City will participate in informative and educational workshops for further awareness raising and promotion of the use of RE sources and EE. These activities include different target groups. Specific activities with pre-school and primary school population will include joint exhibitions and CB meetings.
Local Action Group Zapadna Slavonija will be active in all soft measures (Awareness raising on renewable energy and energy efficiency -Educational workshops and round table). It will organize the pre-school and primary school relevant activities, specifically a thematic drawing activity for the preschool-primary school population of Nova Gradiska. Drawings will be publicly exhibited together, in Sabac and in Nova Gradiska. LAG will procure and use 2 e-bikes for promotional and operational use.
