The Rosi Project, focused on social innovation in cross-border cooperation between Croatia and Serbia, officially launched its activities with a kick-off conference on 25 November, 2024. The event, held at the Science and Technology Park, marked the beginning of the “Social Innovation Region” project within our Programme.

With a total value of €350,326.88, the project aims to create an environment and support system for social innovations in the cross-border region. Implemented by the Open University of Subotica, the Vukovar Development Agency (VURA), the Provincial Secretariat for Regional Development, and Studium College from Osijek, the project is focused on establishing living laboratories, educational concepts, and stakeholder networks to support social initiatives.

Key speakers at the conference emphasized the project’s goal to improve cross-border cooperation, regional development, and long-term solutions for social and economic challenges. The 18-month project will continue with activities aimed at building a sustainable knowledge base and promoting innovation in the region.
