The final conference of the project RE@CT – Regional Empowerment for Advanced Collaboration and Technology was held on 12 December 2025 at the Ranč Ramarin Hotel near Nova Gradiška, marking the successful completion of the project implemented under the Interreg IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Croatia–Serbia 2021–2027.
The conference brought together project partners, representatives of local authorities, educational institutions, and experts from the fields of industry and technology. Organised in the format of a Think Camp, the event provided an opportunity to present the key project results and to engage in open discussions on future cooperation in education, innovation, and advanced technologies.
During the implementation of the RE@CT project, significant results were achieved, including the procurement of advanced equipment, the development and testing of new educational programmes, and the strengthening of cooperation between educational institutions and industry in the cross-border area. These activities contributed to enhancing research and innovation capacities and to better aligning education with the needs of the modern labour market.
A central highlight of the final conference was the formal signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the project partners, confirming their commitment to continue cooperation beyond the project’s lifetime. The MoU provides a foundation for the further development of joint educational programmes, innovation activities, and long-term partnerships.
The final conference of the RE@CT project once again demonstrated the value of cross-border cooperation and showed how strategic partnerships, supported by European funds, can create sustainable frameworks for the development of education, innovation, and advanced technologies in the cross-border region.
