Operation purpose and expected achievements:
The overall objective of the project is to enhance the uptake of new technologies and the level of induced innovations for and in advanced manufacturing/processing within the SME sector in the collaborative cross-border region, leading to increased competitiveness, improved productivity, and sustainable growth for the SMEs in the programme area. The project’s objective is to establish local hubs for advanced manufacturing and technology using the expertise and infrastructure of project partners. The aim is to invest in education and vocational training to develop a skilled workforce that can meet industry demands. Assisted by VR applications, providing specialized training in advanced technologies like CNC machining, mechatronics, robotics, automation, and laser applications, the project aims to equip individuals with the skills needed for modern industry demands. This helps bridge the skills gap and ensures a workforce capable of utilizing cutting-edge technologies.


 

Beneficiaries:

The main activities of Industrial park Nova Gradiška, Ltd. for development and investment (HR) as Lead Partner are directed towards developing and implementing innovative solutions, especially in advanced laser technology and aims to foster human resource development and support the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through technology adoption and skill enhancement. IPNG plays a crucial role in establishing and operating the Advanced Technology Workshop in Nova Gradiška, where it will equip the facility with a functional laser-cutting machine. This machine will be key for training laser machine operators and introducing technology to developing manufacturing entities, fostering the uptake of the technology. IPNG is also involved in ensuring that fiber laser technology, with its efficiency and robustness, is not only implemented but also understood by manufacturers across the region.

The main activities of Centar for professional education Šabac (RS) as Project Partner are directed towards developing and implementing innovative solutions, especially in mechatronics and robotics. Centar for professional education Šabac aims to foster human resource development and support the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through technology adoption and skill enhancement. Through the project, CSU’s role extends to contributing to regional development goals while balancing long-term growth and development. As a driver and catalyst for economic regional development, CSU focuses on establishing an efficient business environment, fostering, and assisting individuals and enterprises in embracing new technologies, and achieving synergistic effects.

Beneficiary’s social media:   

The focus of International Center for technology and knowledge transfer, partnership and innovation (RS) as Project Partner will be on supporting the upskilling of the partners and stakeholders, more specifically the members of the CBCB (Cross-Border Cooperation Board for advanced technologies and relevant education), by organising capacity building activities, by providing training in this matter requires a good trust base at the business entity, but also potential trainee level, as well as on the academic level. Therefore, ICTTI will enhance their understanding of operational management, advanced manufacturing and its relevant new technologies, and insight in patenting and licensing, with legal aspects that still might be different on the two sides of the border.
