Operation purpose and expected achievements:
The overall objective of the project is to bolster research and innovation in Osijek Baranja County and the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina. The EcoTech Portal will unite 150+ stakeholders, enabling 10+ technology transfers. Simultaneously, the Biosense Institute’s Living Lab will lead in green tech research, initiating 10+ projects yearly and presenting 5 market-ready solutions. The main outputs of the project are:
– Operational Living Lab at Biosense Institute, a physical space equipped with both existing equipment from Biosense and newly procured items, including office furniture and specialized equipment
– EcoTech Transfer Portal, a fully functional virtual platform designed to facilitate the transfer of technology
– Pilot Testing of EcoTech Transfer Portal
– Three Living Lab Pilot Demonstrations.
Beneficiaries:
The role of Biosense Institute (RS) as Lead Partner in the project is to spearhead the technological and innovative aspects of the “LivingLAB greenStudio 1.0” project. Biosense will be responsible for setting up and operating the LivingLAB greenStudio 1.0. This facility will be a nexus for research, development, and commercialization of green technologies, and a focal point for capacity-building initiatives. Biosense will also earmark funds for the research, development, and operational facets of the LivingLAB greenStudio 1.0, ensuring its long-term viability. Under the aegis of Biosense, R&D endeavors will be directed towards devising state-of-the-art green tech solutions that resonate with the challenges and needs of the programme area. Biosense will tap into its expansive network to catalyze collaborations between startups, industry stalwarts, academic institutions, and government entities, ensuring a comprehensive approach to green tech adoption.
The role of Centre for Entrepreneurship (HR) as Project Partner in the “LivingLAB greenStudio 1.0” project is to curate and deliver specialized training modules tailored for green tech startups, offering insights on business strategy, market dynamics, and innovation in the green tech sector. CFE will oversee the project’s financial aspects, ensuring budget adherence, timely fund disbursement, and financial reporting in line with EU guidelines, spearhead the project’s promotional activities, ensuring that the innovations and breakthroughs of “LivingLAB greenStudio 1.0” reach a wide audience, from potential investors to industry stakeholders, organize workshops, seminars, and interactive sessions dedicated to bolstering capacities within the green tech sector.
The role of Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek (HR) as Project Partner in the “LivingLAB greenStudio 1.0” Project will be to organize and lead workshops, seminars, and training sessions focused on green tech innovations, ensuring that project participants are equipped with the latest knowledge. Besides that, FERIT will also coordinate capacity building educations regarding technology transfer and thus contribute to the project partner capacity strengthening and promotion of applied scientific research. In the project, FERIT will act as the technical backbone, driving innovation, research, and development.
