On 29 June 2021 project ”Support Life” held the final conference at the Principovac Mansion in Ilok, where the results of the project were presented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A total of 123 health, social and other workers were educated through the project, and medical equipment and vehicle needed to provide health and social services were procured. Mobile teams for elderly people and persons with disabilities were organised and they provided health and social services for more than 740 people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One department in Home Ilok has been reconstructed and equipped with 10 beds for people in terminal phase of illness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The final conference was attended by Deputy Head of Social Welfare of Vukovar-Srijem County Andrijana Dujmovi\u0107, Deputy Head of Finance Service of Vukovar \u2013Srijem County Sandra Ad\u017eaga, representative of Town Ilok Ivana Aramba\u0161i\u0107, president assembly of the City of \u0160abac Nemanja Paji\u0107, and other representatives of health and social institutions of Vukovar-Srijem County and other counties, business partners participating in the project and partners in the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Director of Home Ilok Ms Darija Nikoli\u0107 talked about project’s activities and thanked all those who participated in the project. Also, Director of Caritas \u0160abac Mr Miroljub Nikoli\u0107 noted the importance of this kind of service and how much the project contributed to the local community of \u0160abac.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through the implementation of the project, it was established a great need for this kind of services and we hope that the project ”Support Life” will be a good example of practice for other institutions and organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The total value of the project is \u20ac 1.012.600,83. Partners in the project are the Home for elderly and infirm persons Ilok, Association of persons with disabilities Bubamara, Caritas \u0160abac and Health Center Dr. Draga Ljo\u010di\u0107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
