A video competition dedicated to highlight this year\u2019s theme – Europe is you \u2013 is currently under way. Join our competition and win interesting prizes! <\/strong><\/p>\n

Why an EC Day? <\/strong><\/p>\n

The European Cooperation Day is an event dedicated to promoting territorial cooperation in Europe. It highlights positive results of projects implemented throughout different regions and different countries. The EC Day takes place as a local event around 21 September every year during which the community can see first-hand how cooperating across borders improves life in and around Europe.<\/p>\n

This year, we are organizing a video competition to see how EU benefits citizens of our Programme area.<\/p>\n

What kind of video competition? <\/strong><\/p>\n

By organizing the EC Day 2019 video competition, our idea is to see what the EU has done for citizens of Croatia\u2019s and Serbia\u2019s border regions. In line with the slogan of the EC Day 2019 \u2013 Europe is you<\/strong> – we want to hear your thoughts and feelings of being part of the EU and how EU benefits you.<\/p>\n

You can make videos showing yourself talking about travelling, employment, volunteering or any other experience the EU ensured for you, or videos that show drawing, writing, acting and similar scenes. We are looking for creative and original videos that will show the true spirit of the EU.<\/p>\n

Videos can be recorded with smartphones (but the quality should be at least 720p) and should be under 40 seconds.<\/p>\n

Who can apply and when? <\/strong><\/p>\n

High school and university and college students are our main target groups, but the competition is open to all citizens living in the Programme area<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The competition is open till 30 June 2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n

What\u2019s the prize? <\/strong><\/p>\n

The video with the most original, innovative and creative way of showing what the EU has done for him or she will win a smart watch. For second and third place, we\u2019ve ensured some interesting awards as well!<\/p>\n

How to apply?<\/strong><\/p>\n

See our rules of the video competition<\/a> and send us the video with the filled in application form. All the documents needed to apply are listed below:<\/p>\n

When will the winners be announced? <\/strong><\/p>\n

Authors of the best videos will be announced on our webpage during July 2019. Prizes will be handed out to winners at our EC Day exhibition in Osijek in September. The exact date, time and venue will be announced on our website.<\/p>\n
